Dressing my Bump in the Third Trimester

Third trimester. Yikes. We are getting closer and closer to our little Liam’s arrival date. This is the point in pregnancy when I pretty much want to hole up in my house and wear bed clothes all day.

Since I’ve been advised to take it easy due to my high-risk pregnancy here, I can pretty much hang out in my PJs all day long! Sweet!

However, I do have to venture out a ton for my massive list of appointments that I have now and when I do leave the house, I get to wear some pretty nice things.

How do I dress the bump in the third trimester?! Well, check out my closet below or at least a snapshot of the stuff I own!

My favorite brands are: Isabel & Ingrid (found at Target!), Jessica Simpson (found at Motherhood Maternity!), Lauren Conrad (found at Kohls) and I hands down love shopping secondhand at ThredUp (if you haven’t heard about ThredUp, you can find out more here and grab $10 for signing up!

Above, you’ll find actual items that I own and wear right now and if you are interested, you can click right through to shop my closet!

UPDATE: Many of these items are no longer available, but the retailers are still awesome and they have many new updated styles to choose from!

Isabel Maternity – from Target!

What I like most about this brand? I love the waistbands on the pants. All too often waistbands roll down and are bulky and restrictive. The waistbands on all of the pants in this line have an open back and full coverage front, which prevents them from falling down and also lets your back breathe a bit! It has a dual purpose to of providing ample support for the area that needs it the most…your baby bump!

Jessica Simpson – found at Motherhood Maternity

What I like most about this brand? This brand is so chic and stylish. I can always count on a light flowing top that isn’t restrictive. The tops are absolutely trendy and very well made. I always receive a ton of compliments about them when I wear them (and I wear them a lot!)

Lauren Conrad – found at Kohls

What I like most about this brand? I like the Lauren Conrad brand for the same reasons that I like the Jessica Simpson brand. The shirts are always trendy, light and airy. They pair with some jeans for a nice outfit that you can wear dressed down during the day or dress it up for a date night before the baby arrives (or after too).

ThredUp

Seriously, if this is the first time you’ve heard about ThredUp, now is the time to look this awesome company up! ThredUp is life-changing!

They sell secondhand, gently used clothing and they even have an awesome selection of clothing that is still new with tags! I’ve been shopping with ThredUp since 2009 and I’ve never been disappointed.

The return process is super easy and the clothes are always great quality. Travis will tell you that I have a ThredUp addiction (because who can’t resist the $5 shirt with free shipping??), but I’m always a little excited when that polka dot box arrives on my doorstep! It’s like Christmas for $20!

Here’s a snapshot of my most recent orders just to give you an idea of what you can save by shopping at ThredUp! ThredUp also offers more than just maternity clothes too!! I buy a ton of kid clothes and clothes for non-pregnant Toni there as well!!

Travis, Toni & Pete at Star Wars premier

My fav shirt this pregnancy is by far this one above that I found on Amazon! To surprise my mom, I picked her up at the airport wearing this! How else do you announce that “oops, you did it again” and you are preggo with baby #4!

This one is our #LastJedi, so it makes perfect sense. I also just wore this t-shirt paired with a red plaid Isabel and Ingrid shirt and jeans to the Last Jedi premiere last night!

I’ll have some holiday maternity looks up soon! I’m finalizing what my girls and I will wear for Christmas day this weekend! Knowing me, it’ll be some nice plaid, a-line dresses for the kiddos and whatever fits in 10 days that is somewhat merry and bright for me!!

I aways wanted to try thredup but was skeptical. I am 26 weeks pregnant and feel like a zombie at times. Target brand is my favorite!

You should totally check out ThredUp! If you click the link in the post, you'll get $10 right now too! I've found almost half of my maternity clothes on ThredUp this time around and the clothes are in great shape. Besides, if you don't like them, the return process is super simple. I've never been disappointed and I've been using ThredUp for so so long now! Also, they do promotions probably once every other week and do a 15%-20% off of your total order! It's awesome!

I agree the maternity clothes have come a long way especially brands designed by celebrities that are fabulous and trendy. Gotta love deals at Kohls and getting Kohls cash.
